Our Story

Eric has over 25 years of experience in coaching, athletics, and sports media. As a longtime Northern Michigan basketball coach, he led Harbor Springs High School and Harbor Light Christian School to conference and district championships, earning Petoskey News-Review Coach of the Year in 2017. 

Beyond coaching, Eric worked as a sports broadcaster and producer. His experience includes color commentary for Next Level Broadcasting, on-air talent for 106.7 The Peak, play-by-play for ESPN Radio Northern Michigan, public address announcing for Harbor Springs athletics, and nearly three decades running Night Life Entertainment. 

At Varsity Stream Media, Eric provides game analysis, storytelling, and an athlete's perspective to ensure authenticity and insight in every broadcast. 

Tom brings over 30 years of experience in broadcast, communications, and leadership. As a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major for American Forces Network–Europe, he managed radio and television operations. He served military communities through more than a dozen affiliates. 

Currently, Thomas leads Sky Media 45 LLC and teaches in Northwestern Michigan College’s Uncrewed Aerial Systems program. He specializes in broadcast production, media, and FAA-certified drone services. Thomas holds a Master’s in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies.
